Cloud Computing
Cloud computing offers to companies the option of storing their data in a third party data center instead of making the company spending money with their own data storage. This system is being adopted to companies in order to save some money and store more data that they want it. Also, the sharing and usage process are easier, faster and more accurate. In the last 4 years, cloud computing has been the most requested service that companies are looking for. The expected growth rate for this service is 50% per annum. However the demand of this service is increasing so fast that it might beat these numbers. The cloud computing is divided in three models, Private, Hybrid and Public. These models were created to deal with customers’ needs. The most used is the private system that is very demanded by private corporations that want to store their data in a safe place. Public cloud is used by public services, such as libraries, schools, and hospitals. This way they can offer an easy support to those that want to access their data. Hybrid cloud is a composition of both, designated for companies that want to offer customers public access to their data but also, keep their privacy toward couple subjects. For those that like visual aids, I attached a picture that explains exactly how this system works.
