Uber Expandes With Moves to Make Their Driverless Cars a Reality
Uber's camera equipped cars, pictured above, have recently been mapping out streets, attractions, establishments, etc, similar to Google's street view. Uber is also planning to buy Microsoft's digital-navigation systems as well as the 3D mapping technology associated with Microsoft's Bing search engine.
Uber is hoping that their new technology will make it easier for their current drivers, who will be able to use it to avoid busy intersections and other actions that will make routes quicker.
The technology is also laying the groundwork for a future driverless car
There is currently a competitive race between Google, Tesla, and other companies to develop a practical driverless vehicle.
What do you think? Would you ever have a driverless vehicle come pick you up and take you somewhere?

I just wouldn't personally feel comfortable with giving up control of something as potentially dangerous as a vehicle.
