The future of at home gaming: its real

Microsoft is expressing an interest in this field. The Microsoft HoloLens product is headed in this direction using a headset. Specialized headsets for AR could still work with the mobile phone in the cardboard box. It just needs to utilize the camera of the mobile phone so the user can also see the real world objects. That way they don't kill themselves while playing some game or examining the frog.

Watch the below video as Microsoft shows how its new hololens product actually works. The games will turn any room into a live video game. You see the man in the video fight off robot aliens and really interact in the game. The game will not interfere with any real life furniture or walls and obstacles in the game. The game is equipped with complete area awareness technology.

Look into the future of gaming below.

  1. this really intrigues me! it seems like it would be a blast to play and would give that feeling of real life gaming, plus it keeps the gamer active and burning calories.
