Advanced robotics, a good idea for our future?
As our world evolves, lots of things are improving an getting more important. That is the case for technology. Technology and science become a big part in our society ans have developed as cornerstone in our culture. since evolution looks limitless, the human brain is coming up with new ideas that were impossible to realize couple years ago. as our knowledge increased overall thanks to the tools available. Advanced robotics go in that way. It first came into use in 1980's and it is defined any sensor-based robots that attempt to mimic human intelligence.
Some would tell you that advanced robotics can be dangerous for the human development as robots could potentially replace humans on some daily tasks. But based on the world we live in, advance robotics could become really handful depending on its use.indeed, it could have a great impact on the medicine area. using medicine assisted technology can benefit the patients. "You can actually mark the knee at the time of surgery, now when I mark it I can see exactly what the knee looks like and it helps me select the component that I need and the type of component and I can actually go in with a special device after I designed it, which actually helps me bur the area out and put the implant in, so we get a precise
application of the implant,” explained Dr. Sonny Rush, an Orthopedic Surgeon at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Patients could benefit from this technology by getting smaller incisions, less scaring, and quicker recovery. Several universities like UMass have decided to concentrate on advanced robotics to get even better results and learn more about what could make a huge impact in our lives.
The problem with advanced robotics in field like medicine is that medicine is directly affecting human life, and as such it will take a very long time for the public at large to trust nonhuman entities to take over the task of overseeing it.
